Dr Christopher Wong is a Consultant Nephrologist at Aintree University Hospital Foundation Trust.
He qualified from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1995. He trained in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin and completed his nephrology training in the Mersey Deanery training programme before being appointed to his current position in 2006.
He is the current Clinical Director in the Department of Renal Medicine, University Hospital Aintree.
Dr Wong's main clinical interests are the management of patients with glomerular diseases, vasculitis, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension and chronic kidney disease.
Dr Wong has numerous publications in renal medicine.
